This day was filled with immediate family and close friends all coming together to celebrate Lexi and Mitch at their dreamy classic winter wedding. Mitch’s maroon velvet suit, Lexi’s stunning lace long sleeves, the greenery and candle lantern centerpieces, and the bridesmaids’ matching pashminas are all just some small details that helped bring the whole day together perfectly.
How they met: “We met in 6th grade when I moved to Pickerington and started going to his church. We became really close friends right away. We “dated” for 3 months in 7th grade until I decided we would be better as friends. For the next five years, we were best friends and had the same friend group so we were always together. We did not date again until we were seniors in high school (except we were flirty on and off again throughout the years). We were on a youth group trip in November 2017 when he finally asked me to be his girlfriend.”
Their proposal story: “Mitch proposed on November 16th, 2019 at Rising Park in Lancaster, Ohio. I spent the whole day with my friend (and bridesmaid), Hannah. The whole day I was messaging Hannah’s long-distance boyfriend because I thought that I was going to be surprising her with him coming to visit. However, when we arrived at the top of Rising Park, I saw Mitch and instantly knew what was happening. Mitch lined a walkway with beautiful lights and candles and stood at the end of it waiting for me. With the sun setting at just the perfect time, all his plans were executed perfectly to make for the most romantic moment. Leaving the park, I thought all the surprises were over but I was wrong! We got back to my sister’s house in Pickerington where all our friends and family were waiting to celebrate with us! Mitch even had some of our friends hiding at Rising Park to get the most perfect pictures of the moment. I was completely surprised.”
Lexi’s favorite thing about Mitch: “He has the biggest heart; he is always kind, generous, and loving to everyone he meets.”
